1) Close all doors and windows that are connected to the alarm panel. 2) Enter a valid user code. 3) Press the [ON] button. 4) Select the areas that you wish to arm by pressing the corresponding area numbers, or arm all areas by pressing the [0] button. 5) Press the [ENTER] button to arm the selected areas. 6) Once the area has been armed, the corresponding areas LEDs will be illuminated, indicating that the area has been armed.
1) Enter a valid user code. 2) Press the [OFF] button. 3) Select the areas that you wish to disarm by pressing the corresponding area numbers or, disarm all areas by pressing the [0] button. 4) Press the [ENTER] button to disarm the selected areas. 5) Once the area has been disarmed, the corresponding area LEDs will no longer be illuminated, indicating that the area has been disarmed.
Manual Bypass Programming allows you to program the alarm system to ignore (deactivate) specified zones the next time the system is armed. For example, you may wish to bypass certain zones when workers are renovating part of your establishment. Please note that a Fire Zone cannot be bypassed. 1) Press the [MENU] button. 2) Enter a valid user code. 3) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you for the menu number you wish to enter. 4) Press the [ENTER] button. 5) Zones that are currently unsealed (triggered) will be displayed on the keypad. 7) Press the [ENTER] button to bypass (isolate) the selected zone. 8) Enter any further zones that you wish to bypass, then press [ENTER] or 9) Press the [ENTER] button to exit the input bypass menu. 10) Press the [0] button, followed by the [ENTER] button to exit the user menu.

If a zone has been triggered whilst the alarm system is in its armed state, the system will log this information so as it can be viewed at a later time. To display the zones that have been triggered 1) Press the [MENU] button. 2) Enter a valid user code. 3) Press the [ENTER} button. The keypad will now prompt you for the menu number that you wish to enter. 4) Press the [5] button. 5) Press the [ENTER] button. 6) Press the [1] button to display all alarm events. 7) The press the [ENTER] button. 8) the most recent event will be displayed on the terminal. The top line will show the time and, the second line will show the actual event. 9) Press the [ENTER] button o scroll backwards through the alarm memory. 10) Press the [MENU] arrow button to scroll forwards through the alarm memory. 11) Press the [0] button to exit viewing the system alarm events. 12) Press the [ENTER] button to exit the view events menu. 13) Press the [0] button, followed by the [ENTER] button to exit the user menu.
Using the Master mode To view user access codes, you will first require a Master code. 1) Press the [MENU] button. 2) Enter a valid Master code. 3) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you for the menu number you wish to enter. 4) Press the [1] then the [4] button. 5) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you if you wish to delete, display or create a user. 6) Press the [2] button to display user information. 7) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 8) Enter the user number that you wish to display. 9) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. The keypad will display the user alarm group. 10) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 11) The keypad will now display the user door group (for access control). 12) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 13) The keypad will now display the user’s floor group. 14) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 15) The keypad will now display the username for the selected user. 16) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 17) The keypad will now display the user code for the selected user. 18) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 19) Press the [ENTER] button again to exit the view user menu option. 20) Press the [0] button, followed by the [ENTER] button to exit the user menu.
Using the Master mode To change the user access codes, you will first require the Master code. 1) Press the [MENU] button. 2) Enter a valid Master code. 3) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you for the menu number that you wish to enter. 4) Press the [1] then the [4] button. 5) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you if you wish to delete, display or create a user. 6) Press the [3] button to create (edit) user information. 7) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 8) Enter the user number that you wish to change or add. 9) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. 10) The keypad will display the current user alarm group. 11) Press the [NEXT] button to display a list of valued user alarm groups. 12) Enter the new user alarm group you wish to use for this user. 13) The press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 14) The keypad will now display the user door group (for access control). 15) Press the [NEXT] button to display a list of valid door groups. 16) Enter a new user door group that you wish to user for this user. 17) Then press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 18) The keypad will now display the user’s floor group. 19) Press the [NEXT] to display a list of valid floor groups. 20) Enter the new user floor group that you wish to use for this user. 21) Then press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 22) The keypad will now display the user name for the selected user. 23) If your system is programmed with the ability to assign special user flags to the users, the display will now show the following user flags in sequence. 24) Dual Custody – If set to YES, the user will always require a second valid user code/card to be entered to perform any alarm or access control function at doors 17 to 64. 25) Press the [*] button to toggle this option to the require setting. 26) Press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 27) Guard – If set to YES, the user’s code/card can only perform functions at Door 17 to 64 when used in conjunction with a “visitor” code/card. 28) Press the [*] button to toggle this option to the required setting. 29) Press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 30) Visitor – If set to YES, the user’s code/card can only perform functions at Door 17 to 64 when used ion conjunction with a “guard” code/card. 31) Press the [*] button to goggle this option to the required setting. 32) Press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 33) Trace User – If set to YES, all alarm and access functions perform by the user at Doors 17 to 64 will cause a “trace” message to be sent to management computer. 34) Press the [*] button to goggle this option to the required setting. 35) Then press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 36) Card Only – If set to YES the user will NOT be able to use the PIN code. 37) Press the [*] button to goggle this option to the required setting. 38) Then press the [ENTER] button save and continue. 39) Privilege – If set to YEs, the user’s code/card will over-ride any “anti-passback” restrictions on Doors 17 to 64. 40) Press the [*] button to toggle this option to the required setting. 41) Then press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 42) Long Access – If set to Yes, the user will be allowed extended door access times to Doors 17 to 64. E.g. to allow the door to remain open longer for disabled access. 43) Press the [*] button to toggle this option to the required setting. 44) Then press the [ENTER] button to save and continue. 45) The keypad will now prompt you for the new username for the selected user. The new username can be up to 16 characters long. Keys 1 to 9 have alphabetical characters printer above them. To enter a letter, press the key the number of times relative to the position of the letter. Both upper and lower case letters are available as well as the numerical values. To move to the next character, press the [ENTER] button. 46) Once the username has been entered, press the [MENU] button to continue. 47) The system will now prompt you for the new user code for the selected user. 48) Enter a four digit user code for the user. 49) Press the [ENTER] button to save the new user pin code. 50) Press the [ENTER] button to return to return to the user programming menu. 51) Press the [ENTER] button to exit the user programming menu. 52) Press the [0] button, followed by the [ENTER] button to exit the user menu.
When a trouble condition occurs, the trouble information will be displayed on the keypad. Trouble conditions are also logged in memory and are available for viewing using menu option 3.
If the alarm penal has lost power, if may require the system time and date to be set. 1) Press the [MENU] button. 2) Enter a valid Master code. 3) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you for the menu number you wish to enter. 4) Press the [1] then the [4] button. 5) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt if you wish to view or, set the current date and time. 6) Press the [2] button to set the current date and time. 7) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. The keypad will now prompt you for the current hour. 8) Enter the current hour in 24 hour format (2 digits). 9) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. The keypad will now prompt you for the current minute. 10) Enter the current hour in mm format (2 digits). 11) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. The keypad will now prompt you for the current day of the month. 12) Enter the current day in dd format (2 digits). 13) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. The keypad will now prompt you for the current month. 14) Enter the current day in MM format (2 digits). 15) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. The keypad will now prompt you for the current year. 16) Enter the current day year in yy format (2 digits). 17) Press the [ENTER] button to save the current date and time. 18) Press the [ENTER] button to exit the date/time menu. 19) Press the [0] button, followed by the [ENTER] button to exit the user menu.
Individual panel inputs can be testing using the Input Test Menu. To test an input: 1) Press the [MENU] button. 2) Enter a valid Master code. 3) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you for the menu number that you wish to enter. 4) Press the [1] then the [2] button. 5) Press the [ENTER] button. The keypad will now prompt you for the input number that you wish to test. 6) Enter the input number you wish to test. 7) Press the [ENTER] button to continue. The keypad will now display the status for the selected input. Sealed: The device has not been triggered. Unsealed: The device is currently being triggered. Open: The device is not connected or, the cable is faulty (open circuit). Short: The device is not connected or, the cable is faulty (short circuit). 8) Press the [ENTER] button to stop testing the selected input. 9) Press the [ENTER] button to exit the test input menu. 10) Press the [0] button, followed by the [ENTER] button to exit the user menu.
