  • Arming the Panel

    1) Close all doors and windows that are connected to the alarm panel.
    2) Enter a valid user code.
    3) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    4) Select the areas that you wish to arm by pressing the corresponding area numbers, or by using the [UP] and [DOWN] arrow buttons.
    5) Press the [ON] button to arm the selected areas.
    6) Once the area has been armed, the keypad will display the areas that are in exit delay.
    7) Press the [END] button to finish.

  • Disarming the Panel

    1) Enter a valid user code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Select the area you wish to disarm by pressing the corresponding area numbers or, by using the [UP] and [DOWN] arrow buttons.
    4) Press the [OFF] button to disarm the selected area.
    5) Once the area has been disarmed, the keypad will display the area that has been switched off.
    6) Select further areas to disarm by pressing the corresponding area number button and, pressing the [OFF] button.
    7) Press the [END] button to finish.

  • Bypassing (Switching Off) Zones on Arming

    Manual Bypass Programming allows you to program the alarm system to ignore (deactivate) specified zones the next time the system is armed.
    For example, you may wish to bypass certain zones when workers are renovating part of your establishment.
    Please note that a Fire Zone cannot be bypassed.
    1) Enter a valid user code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Press the [MENU] button.
    4) Press the [3] button.
    5) Select the zones that you wish to bypass by pressing the corresponding zone number or, by using the [LEFT] and [RIGHT] arrow buttons.
    6) The current status of the zone will be displayed (isolated/enabled).
    7) Press the [OFF] button to isolate/bypass or,
    8) Press the [ON] button to enable the zone.
    9) Press the [OK] button to save the current state of the zone.
    10) Press the [END] button to exit the zone bypass function and return back to the main system.

  • Viewing the Alarm Memory

    If a zone has been triggered whilst the alarm system is in its armed state, the system will log this information so as it can be viewed at a later time.
    To display the zones that have been triggered,
    1) Enter a valid user code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Press the [MENU] button.
    4) Press the [1] button.
    5) The most recent event will be displayed on the terminal.
    The top line will show the time and, the second line will show the actual event.
    6) Use the [UP] arrow button to scroll backwards through the alarm memory.
    7) Use the [DOWN] arrow button to scroll forward through the alarm memory.
    8) Press the [1] button to display the alarm/restore event that occurred.
    9) Press the [OK] button to toggle the message display between condensed and standard mode.

  • Viewing User Information

    Using the Master Mode
    To view user access codes, you will first require the Master code.
    1) Enter a valid Master code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Press the [MENU] button.
    4) Press the [2] button.
    5) Enter the user number that you wish to view/
    6) Press the [OK] button.
    7) The name for the selected user will now be displayed.
    8) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    9) The user code for the selected user will now be displayed.
    10) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    11) The areas the selected user has access to will be displayed.
    NOTE: Areas that have been enabled for a user will have a “Y” displayed below.
    12) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    13) The keypad will display if the user can access the isolate menu.
    14) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    15) The keypad will display if the user can review events (View the alarm memory).
    16) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    17) The keypad will display if they user can turn off (disarm) areas.
    18) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    19) The keypad will display if the user can enable the dead man timer.
    20) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    21) The keypad will display if the user can alter user codes.
    22) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    23) The keypad will display if the user can access the system areas 0 and 9.
    24) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    25) The keypad will display if the user can isolate (bypass) zones when arming.
    26) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    27) The keypad will display if the user can conduct a walk test on zones.
    28) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    29) The keypad will display the time zones enabled for the user.
    30) Press the [OK] button to continue without changes.
    31) Press the [END] button to exit viewing user information.

  • Changing User Codes

    Using the Master Mode
    To change user access codes, you will first require a Master code.
    1) Enter a valid Master code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Press the [MENU] button,
    4) Press the [2] button.
    5) Enter the user number you wish to change.
    6) Press the [OK] button.
    7) The name for the selected user will now be displayed.
    8) You can change the name of the user by pressing the number of the keypad, much like sending an SMS on a mobile phone.
    9) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    10) The user code for the selected user will now be displayed.
    11) You can change user code by entering a 4 digit code on the keypad.
    12) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    13) The areas the selected user has access to, will be displayed.
    NOTE: Areas that have been enabled for a user will have a “Y” displayed below.
    14) Use the [LEFT] and [RIGHT] arrow buttons to highlight the area you wish to grant or deny access to.
    15) Press the [9] button to toggle the access (Y to grant) or (N to deny) access to the selected area.
    16) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    17) The keypad will display if the user can access the isolate menu.
    18) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    19) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    20) The keypad will display if the user can review events (view the alarm memory).
    21) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    22) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    23) The keypad will display if the user can turn off (disarm) areas.
    24) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    25) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    26) The keypad will display if the user can enable the dead man timer.
    27) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    28) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    29) The keypad will display if the user can alter user codes.
    30) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    31) Press the [OK] button o save changes and continue.
    32) The keypad will display if the user can access the system areas 0 and 0.
    33) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    34) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    35) The keypad will display if the user can isolate (bypass) zones when arming.
    36) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    37) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    38) The keypad will display if the user can conduct a walk test on zones.
    39) You can toggle this option by pressing the [9] button (Y = enabled, N = disabled).
    40) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    41) The keypad will display the times zones enabled for the user.
    42) Use the [LEFT] and [RIGHT] arrow buttons to highlight the time zone you wish to allocate to the user.
    43) Press the [9] button to toggle the access (Y to enable or (N to disable) the time zone.
    44) Press the [OK] button to save changes and continue.
    45) Press the [END] button to exit changing user information.

  • Alarm Trouble Codes

    When a trouble condition occurs, the trouble information will be displayed on the keypad.
    If a system fault has been detected, the [TRBL] indicate will illuminate.
    Trouble conditions are also logged in memory and are available for viewing using menu option 3.

  • Setting the Time

    If the alarm panel has low power, it may require the system time and date to be set.
    1) Enter a valid Master code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Press the [MENU] button.
    4) Press the [5] button.
    5) Press the [1] button.
    6) Enter the required date and time.
    7) Press the [END] button to exit changing the system date and time.

  • Testing an Input

    Individual panel inputs can be tested using the Input Test Menu.
    To test an input:
    1) Enter a valid Master code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Press the [MENU] button.
    4) Press the [4] button.
    5) Press the [1] button.
    6) Enter the input number that you wish to test.
    7) Press the [OK] button.
    8) The name and the status of the selected Input will be displayed.
    Sealed: The Device has not been triggered.
    Alarm: The Device is currently being triggered.
    Tamper: The Device is not connected, or the cable faulty.

  • Testing the System Siren

    The External Siren can be tested using the following procedure,
    1) Enter a valid Master code.
    2) Press the [OK] button.
    The keypad will now display a welcome message.
    3) Press the [MENU] button.
    4) Press the [4] button.
    5) Press the [3] button.
    6) Press the [OK] button.
    7) Press the [ON] key to turn on the system siren.
    8) Press the [OFF] key to turn off the system sire.
    9) Press the [END] button to exit the siren test mode.
